KAvach Cricket Club (Cricket for All)
KAvach Cricket Club is a Bangalore-based leather ball cricket club built exclusively for working professionals who want to stay active, sharpen their cricketing skills, and enjoy competitive weekend matches. Based near Sarjapur Road, we offer structured weekday practice sessions, access to professional coaching, and team placements based on skill levels—from beginner to advanced. With over 300 matches played, multiple in-house teams, and flagship events like the KAvach Premier League (KPL), we’re more than just a cricket club—we’re a growing community of like-minded enthusiasts. Whether you're returning to the game or picking up a cricket bat for the first time, KAvach is your go-to destination for leather ball cricket in Bangalore.
Our Story
KAvach Cricket Club started with a small idea—just to play 45 minutes of morning cricket for fun and fitness. In early 2022, four friends from a South Bangalore society, who were returning to cricket after 15 years, decided to practice together. They sent out one invitation, and to their surprise, more than 15 people showed up. That’s how our first team was formed. We played our first leather ball match on 5th February 2022, and from there, KAvach Cricket Club began its journey.
What started as a simple group soon became a big cricket family. Our goal was to promote cricket for working professionals in Bangalore—people who love the game but couldn’t play due to jobs or other priorities. Today, we are a community of 350+ players, including IT engineers, doctors, lawyers, startup founders, and CEOs. We have different teams for all skill levels—from beginners to experienced players. We also host our own KAvach Premier League (KPL), an IPL-style tournament with auctions, teams, and live scoring. It’s more than just cricket—it’s passion, fitness, and friendship.
